Terms of Service

Welcome. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Code Velora ("Code Velora", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Lensvira and LensviraConnect apps (collectively, the "Apps"). By signing up or using the Apps you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Apps.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Apps.
• You must provide an accurate and current phone number for OTP verification.
• You must not be barred from using software services under Indian law.

2. About the Apps

Lensvira and LensviraConnect are companion apps published by Code Velora:

• Lensvira  is for photographers and contractors — manage projects, hire photographers, deliver media, generate invoices.
• LensviraConnect  is for clients and individual photographers — view delivered media, browse photographers, manage personal bookings.

Both apps share the same backend and the same user account. Signing up in one signs you up for both.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your phone number, PIN, and device secure.
• You may not impersonate another person or business.
• You may not have multiple accounts under the same phone number (Firebase enforces this).
• If we detect fraudulent activity or violations of these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account.

4. Pricing & payments

4.1 Current pricing

The Apps are free to use at present. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no commission charged on transactions between users.

4.2 Future paid features

We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, including (but not limited to):

• Subscription plans for advanced project management or storage
• Premium photographer profile placement
• Online payment processing (via Razorpay) where Lensvira facilitates transactions between users
• Additional storage tiers for media uploaded to R2

If a feature you currently use becomes paid, we will notify you in-app or via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect, and you will have the option to opt out before being charged.

4.3 Payments between users

When a contractor pays a photographer (or a client pays a contractor), the payment currently happens outside the Apps (UPI, bank transfer, cash). The Apps merely record metadata such as UPI transaction IDs and screenshots for the users' own bookkeeping. Code Velora is not a party to these payments and is not responsible for disputes between users about payment.

4.4 Razorpay (planned)

When we enable Razorpay, additional terms specific to online payment processing — including refund timelines, chargeback policies, and Razorpay's own terms — will apply and be presented before you make any payment.

5. User content and IP

• You retain ownership of all content you upload (photos, videos, project data, business info, profile content).
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of operating the Apps and delivering features you request (e.g. sharing photos with your clients via LensviraConnect).
• We do not claim ownership over your content and do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.
• Once you delete content (or your account), the licence ends with respect to that content, except where retention is required by law (see Privacy Policy).

6. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or sexually explicit content involving minors
• Upload content you don't have rights to (copyright infringement)
• Use the Apps to spam, scam, or defraud other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or breach our backend
• Use automated scripts (bots, scrapers) to access the Apps without written permission
• Interfere with the Apps' availability (DDoS, abuse, exploitation of bugs)
• Resell or sublicense access to the Apps
• Misrepresent your identity, business, or qualifications

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and removal of offending content.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Apps available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Apps may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues at Cloudflare or Firebase, or events outside our control. We provide the service "as is" and "as available".

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Code Velora is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm — arising out of your use of the Apps.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Apps is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Since the Apps are currently free, this amount is presently zero.
• We are not responsible for the actions, content, or representations of other users on the Apps, or for transactions and payments between users.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Code Velora from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third party's rights (copyright, privacy, etc.)
• Content you upload
• Disputes with other users you connected with through the Apps

10. Account termination

By you: You can delete your account anytime via Settings → Delete Account. See Account Deletion Instructions for what gets deleted and what is retained.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent behaviour. We will notify you of termination unless doing so would compromise an investigation or be illegal.

On termination, your right to use the Apps ends immediately, but provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g. content licence for retained data, limitation of liability, indemnification) will survive.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or via email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Third-party services

The Apps depend on Firebase (Google), Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare D1, Cloudflare R2, and (in the future) Razorpay. Your use of the Apps is also subject to the terms and policies of those providers, which we link to in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Apps will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India.
